PayGo Retail Solution Now Comes in Two New Configuration FlavorsBuilt around a new core, PayGo for MySQL is now available for local hosting and as an unlocked customizable solution.

PayGo SaaS Local Host and PayGo Core Unlocked for MySQL are two new products that extend the company's offerings to retail businesses to now include five robust alternatives from which to choose.

PayGo SaaS Local Host allows retailers to utilize the PayGo SaaS product in their own environment which can include in-house servers or servers co-located with other providers. The product appeals to retailers who require LAN-speeds and direct database connectivity and also companies already vested in other infrastructures.
PayGo Core Unlocked for MySQL allows companies to purchase the company's technology unlocked so that they can pursue their own development path without needing to incur the high costs associated with kicking off an in-house product from the beginning.
"With PayGo Core, our customers get an advantageous starting point," said Haapala-Peterson. "We have saved them tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in planning and development costs. We have the retail core down, and now customers can throw on the toppings that appeal to them."
Both products are based on the company's new Java-based core and can utilize a MySQL database back-end. The solution is designed and hosted using Servoy technology, which provides for multi-platform support and rapid application development. It can run on Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista and in the future, Linux.
