Versioning
Servoy offers solution versioning in both your development environment, as well as in your production environment. Servoy makes it easy to install a new version of your application in production environments. If you encounter a problem after making the new version "live", you can rollback to an older version of your application with just the press of a button.Manage Versions Effortlessly
You can have as many different versions of your solution as you want. To activate or rollback to a previous version, you simply select the appropriate version and press a button to "activate" that release. Once you have activated a specific version, you can choose to soft-launch it or to push it directly to all connected users. For example: If your release only contains an incremental upgrade, you could soft-launch the new version by making it active -- but not push it to all connected users. In this example, users will get the new version the next time they launch the Servoy Smart Client application. If you have a critical update, you can also force a client reload by disconnecting all the users who are connected to that particular solution.
Auto Synch of Components
In addition to your application, Servoy also keeps everything else on the client in-sync: the Servoy version that is being used; the plugins and beans that are being used; CSS Style Sheets; Graphics; and Security. If you move your application from development into production, and you have made changes to your database schema in development, Servoy will automatically apply any incremental changes to your schema in production.
