Servoy Server

Servoy Server handles database server connections; client concurrency and client-server communication; and intelligent data broadcasting. This lightweight Java Application Server can be run as a service on Windows or as a daemon on Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, Unix, AS400, IBM 390, all the way up to mainframe systems -- any platform that will support Java 1.5 or higher.

Scalable
Servoy's Application Server scales seamless from a single users to thousands of concurrent users. Because of it's optimized design it typically requires 2-3 less hardware than comparable J2EE or .Net application servers. It's built-in load balancing allows companies to scale over multiple servers.

Available
The application server has support for clustering and faill-over. With very little effort multiple servers can be configured as a cluster and if one of the servers fails traffic will automatically be redirected to other available servers. The servers do not necessarily have to be within the same building: it also support geograhpic failover.

Batch Processing
The application server has a built-in batch processor which allows applications to run server-side.

Remote management
You can administrate any Servoy Server via a browser - from anywhere in the world. As long as you can make a HTTP connection, you can import new versions of solutions; change the active solution release; add and remove JavaBeans, drivers and applets; send messages to connected clients; disconnect clients; add, change and delete security users, and more.
